The Nevada Division of Water Resources will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, to provide information and receive public input regarding the Extension of Time regulations (Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 533.390 to 533.500, inclusive).
This meeting continues the discussion initiated in October 2024, when the Division reviewed the impact of existing regulations and prepared a subsequent report. Building on that effort, the Division is now resuming its evaluation of the regulations, considering potential updates, discussing related process improvements, and reviewing draft updates to forms.
At the meeting, the Division will provide a summary of prior feedback, present recent data and process improvements, review draft forms, discuss initial regulatory concepts, and outline next steps.
As part of this effort, one of the recommendations from the report was to improve the content and formatting of the Extension of Time (EOT) forms. In preparation for the public meeting, the Division is seeking input on draft revisions to:
- Form 1021 – Extension of Time for Proof of Completion
- Form 1022 – Extension of Time for Proof of Beneficial Use
